In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

I can’t stop crying. I want to say to everyone in the military, my point of view has changed. While I’m a pacifist, you and I are no different in the wish to relieve human suffering. I never got that before. Jennifer’s brilliant and moving talk went straight into my heart. I for one will be a little kinder a little more caring a lot more understanding of people with different points of view. Blessings to you Jennifer and all who serve in the military trying to relieve human suffering.
Thank you for visiting and watching, Peter. We hope that you can view all of the other videos from TEDxScottAFB, as they were all brought together under the event’s theme of “Service to Others.” Not all of the speakers are in the military, but all of the speakers that day shared a common language. Please share MSgt Allara’s video and any other TEDxScottAFB Talks with your family and friends. We appreciate your support!
