LTC David Preston, US Army, is a career logistics officer with several combat and humanitarian command tours. In June 2009, he took command of the 801st Brigade Support Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment (Currahee) at Fort Campbell, Kentucky and in August 2010, he deployed the battalion to Paktika Province, Afghanistan serving as Distribution Manager providing all sustainment and medical support.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
